Conceptualising flood warning system for connected vehicles

Floods are a common natural hazard in Malaysia during the monsoon season. It affects millions of people each year that leads to severe deaths and infrastructure destruction. In recent time, flood warning system (FWS) has been notable topic but it not extensively implemented Malaysia. this study, we developed FWS can interface with connected vehicles order provide alerts drivers while also sending warnings end users. This type enables connect one another within particular radius broadcast information via long range (LoRa) communication technology. When water level rises over certain point, sends indicated through mobile application. Drivers have option take alternative route, reducing likelihood damage when driving into or near flooded area.
